Dear colleagues,

First of all, I would like to thank all our members for giving me the opportunity to serve as the President of the Korean Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.

In the last few years, we have entered an era unlike any that we have seen before, and the coming new year brings along a lot of uncertainty. We need to overcome these unprecedented hardships and challenges by forming a united front, and we must create a path for further growth and development into a more impactful professional society. Since 1993, our association has developed into a professional association with 1,210 members. Through your contributions and commitment, we have strengthened our global position.

I would also like to stress the importance of more frequent gatherings and exchanges among members through conferences to strengthen friendships and promote a collegial spirit. We all know that personal bonds and a sense of solidarity matter when it comes to achieving a collective goal, and that mere knowledge and formalities alone will not take us far.

The Korean Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association has been conducting extensive preparations for the next major steps forward. We need your active participation and support in the new year. I wish you all the best for good health, happiness and love in the year 2022.

Thank you for your continued confidence and support in the association.
